OPENING OF THE NEW UOCRA PROFESSIONAL TRAINING CENTER
MINISTERS DE VIDO AND TOMADA ARE PRESENT IN THE OPENING OF THE NEW BUILDING WORKERS TRAINING CENTER
The New Building Workers Training Center [CIFIC] opening ceremony was held with the presence of Gerardo Martinez, General Secretary of the Argentine Building Workers Union [UOCRA] and Ministers for Federal Planning and Services, Julio De Vido and for Work and Social Security, Carlos Tomada, at UOCRA´s old venue: Rawson 42 Capital Federal
The building will work as a Training Megacenter for building workers offering a wide range of activities: from dry building and electricity to high-precision welding and more complex activities according to the new technologies applied for the Building Industry.
The ribbon cutting ceremony and the blessing of the facilities was in charge of Monseñor Osvaldo Musto and the main ceremony took place at the auditorium of the new rebuilt center which has capacity for three hundred people.
There were also present Gregorio Chodos and Aldo Roggio representing the Argentine Chamber of the Building Industry; Eduardo Luis Duhalde, Secretary of Justice and Human Rights, members of UOCRA Board of Directors and more than four hundred building workers, who contributed enthusiastically to the opening ceremony, since it will represent a new cornerstone of education and training for the building industry workers which will allow them to enlarge their knowledge and labour market insertion framed in the continuous growing up of the sector
