The Argentine Building Workers Union shall be incorporated to the Red Sectorial Construcciones in the Province of Buenos Aires, together with the Buenos Aires Directorate-General for Education and Culture and the Argentinean Chamber of the Building Industry [CAC]. Both parties agreed and created the new organization, last Tuesday June 9 at Trenque Lauquen.
Red Sectorial Construcciones will offer technical training to the Directorate of Professional Training’s instructors. Furthermore, the building curriculum shall be updated and adjusted by incorporating new building technologies and methods. Such modifications shall be homologated by the General Council of Education of the Province of Buenos Aires and by the Federal Council of Education/ National Institute of Technological Education, as applicable. It will also develop professional profiles, assessment tools and regulations for the building workers.

Red Sectorial Construcciones’ representatives will make up a technical team and Fundación UOCRA will contribute with its experience in training building workers. Director General for Education and Culture, Mario Porto; Trenque Lauquen Mayor, Jorge Alberto Barracchi; the President of Regional Council of Education and Labour and General Secretary at Trenque Lauquen UOCRA’s Section, Ricardo Rodriguez and Fundación UOCRA representatives were present in this act.
