The Paraguayan executive officer Victor Baez, Titular member of the Trade Union Confederation of the Americas (TUCA), affiliated to the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) in a meeting held in Buenos Aires, expressed “his total support to Gerardo Martinez further office, UOCRA General Secretary and General Confederation of Labour [CGT] Foreign Affairs Secretary, as Member of the International Labour Organization Governing Body (ILO) acting as representative of the Latin American workers.”

The meeting was useful to assess the course of
socio labour, employment and regional social safety issues before the next plenary meeting of the 97th International Labour (ILO) Annual Conference to be held from next late May to mid June in Geneva.
